An Orthodox prayer app,
for the rule you keep.
The morning and evening prayers of the Orthodox Church, laid out for a phone screen so you can pray them rather than assemble them - with reminders that bring the prayer rule to you.
Free to download for iPhone & iPad · From the publisher of the Lives of the Saints calendar, since 1995

A prayer book
that fits in your pocket.
Morning and evening prayers
The traditional prayers in readable type, laid out for a phone screen. No PDFs to wrestle with, no website to hunt through at six in the morning.
Reminders that keep the rule
Prayer reminders and a Home Screen widget, so the rule reaches you before the day does.
A place for intentions
A private journal for an intention or the name of someone on your heart - kept on your device.
The day around the prayer
The saints of the day, the appointed readings, and a daily saying sit beside the prayers, so your rule follows the Church's day.
Old Calendar or New
Every feast is marked under both the Julian and Revised Julian reckonings, so the day you pray is the day your parish keeps.
The prayers are free
The free app includes the prayers. Optional premium features are purchased through Apple, never needed to say your prayers.
Not a generic
Christian devotional.
Most “Christian prayer apps” assume a tradition that isn’t ours. Orthodox Daily Companion is built for Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Christians, with the prayers, the saints, and the fasts the Church has kept for two thousand years - and for catechumens and inquirers learning that rhythm for the first time.
It is made by the family that has printed the Lives of the Saints calendar since 1995. See everything in the app, or compare it with the web app.
