Privacy policy

Summary
Lives of the Saints collects only the information we need to fulfill your orders, send the emails you’ve asked for, and keep the site working. We do not sell personal information. We use well-known service providers — Stripe, EasyPost, Resend, Google, Vercel, and Neon — and we share the minimum required data with each.
Who we are
This policy applies to livesofthesaintscalendar.com and the Lives of the Saints calendar application (“the Site”). References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator of the Site. Contact us at orthodoxcalendarcompany@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account data. When you create an account we store your name, email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
- Order data.To fulfill orders we collect your shipping address, billing address, and contact email. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe’s Payment Element; we never see or store your card number.
- Communications. If you email us or subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your messages and subscription status so we can respond and so you can unsubscribe.
- Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and measure site performance. It is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not set cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
- Process payments, ship orders, and provide customer support.
- Send order receipts, shipping notifications, and account emails.
- Send newsletter emails only to addresses that have opted in.
- Understand how the site is used and fix problems.
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax collection and fraud prevention.
Service providers we share with
- Stripe — payment processing and tax calculation.
- EasyPost — shipping label generation and tracking.
- Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery.
- Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth.
- Neon — Postgres database hosting for accounts and orders.
- Vercel — site hosting, analytics, and file storage (Vercel Blob).
We share only what each provider needs to do its job, under their data processing agreements. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and shopping cart state, plus a small number of first-party analytics cookies set by Vercel Analytics. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email orthodoxcalendarcompany@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. You can also unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Data retention
Order and tax records are retained for at least seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Account data is retained until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter subscription records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to honor the unsubscribe.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced by email to registered account holders.
