More about
the Christology by St. Nektarios of Pentapolis
In his book "Christology", St. Nektarios of Pentapolis, one of the most revered saints of modern times, writes on the expectations of the nations awaiting the Savior. This profound theological work explores the nature and person of Jesus Christ from an Orthodox Christian perspective. This book delves deeply into the mysteries of the Incarnation, the two natures of Christ - fully divine and fully human - and His salvific mission for humanity. St. Nektarios presents a clear and spiritually rich exposition of Christological doctrines, offering insights rooted in Scripture, the teachings of the Church Fathers, and Orthodox Tradition.
At the heart of the book is a careful exposition of the Incarnation and the two natures of Christ - fully divine and fully human, united in one Person. St. Nektarios unfolds these doctrines with the clarity of a teacher and the reverence of a saint, showing how each truth connects to Christ's saving mission for humanity.
This volume is well suited to Orthodox Christian readers, catechumens, seminarians, clergy, and anyone seeking a spiritually rich introduction to classical Christology from a patristic and Orthodox perspective. It serves equally as a study resource and a devotional companion.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.”- Colossians 3:16
